Our newest niece was born today at 7:56pm. She was 8 pounds 7.4 ounces, 20 inches long and got a 9, 9 on her APGAR. Mom, Dad and baby are doing great and all looked very good when we left for the evening. They will have a 3 day stay at the hospital before heading home. She was so beautiful and alert, Mom too. : ) Welcome to the family little one!
Today was also my Father's 60th birthday although if you saw him you would call me a liar because he looks much younger. Happy birthday Dad! We love you! All in all, I would have to say that the 8th of August is shaping up to be one of my favorites.
